“Guichet virtuel” in the Canton of Jura Raising awareness among the public
Services in the Canton of Jura
Since 2023, the entire population of the Canton of Jura has benefited from support and advice with registering for the “Guichet virtuel”, the canton’s online platform for administrative tasks, at 17 Swiss Post branches in the Canton of Jura. The partnership between Swiss Post and the Canton of Jura makes this possible.
Swiss Post provides the following services for the canton:
- Actively communicating and publicizing the “Guichet virtuel”
- Helping the public to make use of digital services thanks to advice and support from Swiss Post employees (when registering for the “Guichet virtuel” and setting up SwissID)
- Assisting the public with the use of the canton’s digital services
It is also possible to open the electronic patient record (EPR) at the Saignelégier branch.
The strategies of the Canton of Jura and Swiss Post complement each other perfectly for this service. In this way, Swiss Post is helping the canton to implement digitization. The canton’s population benefits from comprehensive, discreet advice and support relating to the online services of the cantonal administration.
Results
Since the beginning of the collaboration, more than 10,000 people have received advice and support at Swiss Post branches in the Canton of Jura. The model is a success.
